Learn
how to get the most out of your Netflix Canada account:
1)
Complete your Taste Profile: The most important thing
that you should do first is go and enter your Netflix Taste Profile.
All you have to do is mark your preferences where you have a
definite opinion. This takes a few minutes (there are 14 pages to
go through) but afterwards, you will see what a difference it makes
in terms of available programming. Netflix Canada uses the information
that you enter here to suggest possible programs for you to watch.
2) Rate movie and TV shows that
you have seen: This works much like your taste profile
except it is one a movie-by-movie basis. This not only helps you
but it helps all other Netflix Canada users.
3)
Select Your Bandwidth Cap: Worried about exceeding your
bandwidth limit when streaming movies from Netflix? Netflicks Canada
has hear the debate about download caps and have made changes to
the website. You can now select three different data rates depending
on how much of a data cap you have. Click on "Your
Account & Help" in the upper right corner of the
page and then on the middle - right side on the Account page click
on the blue "Manage Video Quality"
text link. Here you will be able to enable or select
three different data rates/download speeds.
Your new choices:
Good quality (up to 0.3 GB per hour)
Better quality (up to 0.7 GB per hour)
Best quality (up to 1 GB per hour, or up to 2.3 GB per hour
for HD)
Note: If you are not lucky enough to have an old unlimited
