September 15th, 2009 was the final Deadline for getting your Pleasure Craft Operator Card.
If you are caught operating a boat (under 4m in length) without this license, (and you were born after April 1, 1983) you could be fined up to $250 plus administration fees. The Pleasure Craft Operator Card
is sometimes confused with the Pleasure Craft License. Your boat needs the Pleasure Craft License; you need the Pleasure Craft Operator Card. The good folks at BoaterExam.com have made it very easy for you to learn what you need to pass their online exam. You can even printout your temporary card (you must always carry your card when operating your boat). The training and exam cost $49.95 plus tax (we can save you $10 with our coupon). You can take chapter 1 for free and then take as many retries as you need to pass! All you have to do is score 75% or better on your BoatExam.com exam and you can print out your card and go boating!
